Distribution policy
ESGOS publishes. It does not distribute under contract. Everything the registry verifies is available to everyone on the same terms, and this page states what those terms are.
Everything verified is published, free
Every verification fact on ESGOS — what was checked, by whom, against which standard, on what date, and when it expires — is published free, in full, to everyone, without an account, an API key or a contract. There is no member area holding data back and no record that exists for paying readers only. If a fact is good enough to act on, it is on the public page.
There is one download on this site, and it is not the register. An institution that licenses a portal can upload its own list of companies and download that list back, annotated with whether each row matched and, where it did, the public slug and name it matched to. It is the licensee's own file returning to them; no verification, evidence or tier data is in it, and there is no export of the register — to a licensee, to a related company, or to anyone.
Reuse it. The one condition is the one that protects the reader: when you cite a verification, carry its provenance, and never describe an unverified claim as verified. The terms say it in full.
Machines get the same data on the same terms
The same data is available to machines on identical terms through the MCP server and the Atom feed: unauthenticated, uncharged, no key to request and no registration to complete. There is no paid tier, no commercial plan and no bulk licence — the machine surface is not a product, and nothing about it is negotiable, because there is nothing to negotiate. llms.txt and sitemap.xml exist for the same reason.
A credential cannot buy a better answer here, because no read of a registry record consults one. Signing in is for managing your own material — your claim, your listing, your workspace — and those pages return your own records, never a better view of anyone else's.
What money buys here
Paid products on ESGOS buy presentation, submission rights and workspace tooling — never access to verification data, and never placement in results. An enhanced listing adds a logo, a longer description and a Member mark to a page whose record is public either way. A compliance profile buys the right to submit declarations for review, not the outcome of that review. A portal licence buys a co-branded view of data that is already free, and workspace tools for the institution that licenses it.
None of it changes a tier, a verification, a search position or what the API returns. Money reaches the presentation layer and stops there.
Related entities get nothing extra
Related entities, including GREENTECH FESTIVAL Ltd, consume this site and the MCP server on exactly the same terms as any other visitor: the same pages, the same endpoint, the same rate, the same absence of credentials. There is no affiliate data feed, no privileged endpoint, no advance copy and no arrangement under which registry data leaves ESGOS on terms that are not open to you. Any proposed integration between the entities is tested against that rule before it is built, and the test is written down.
Corrections and disputes
Publishing to everyone only works if being wrong is cheap to fix. Anyone may dispute a listing from the link on its page — no account needed. Receipt is acknowledged within 5 business days, a named reviewer decides within 30 days, and an upheld dispute produces a public, timestamped correction that stays visible. The service levels and the rules behind every badge are on the methodology page; the privacy notice covers the little personal data this site holds.
